Pretty much just a plug this post, so skip it if you don't like it.January can be a bit of a rubbish time for gigs, everyone is a bit skint after Christmas and New Year, so anyone putting a gig on runs the risk of it being quieter than usual, so many don't bother.
With that in mind Stereo in Glasgow are offering a special deal for the month of January. Instead of the usual prices hiring the venue will only cost £80. That, to me, is a bit of a bargain.
